This is a great article. I was also recently at a conference where this topic was discussed and the speaker suggested that companies needed to prepare for Millennials to leave after working for a company only after a few short years. The reason they leave is to learn a different skill set at another company. The best thing an organization can do is train your employee and give them a reason to come back once they have learned their new skills. I think that great advice. As the workforce shortage increases due to the Baby Boomers retiring you will need these “boomerang” employees. Why not hire them back when they have learned new skills?
